About Drew Brophy
Over the years, Drew’s unique style of painting has gained significant recognition and his signature and art has become a brand. He licenses his art to over 30 companies to print onto their products, including t-shirts, greeting cards, art prints, stickers, beach towels, boogie boards, shoes, surfboards, fabrics, tattoos, cd covers, skimboards, and skateboards.
Drew’s art is recognized and collected locally and internationally. Through his travels he has been able to leave a little bit of his art around the globe. Drew’s original art pieces and commission orders keep him busy. His surfboards are sold in art galleries and establishments like the Hard Rock Casino, Las Vegas, as well as to many individuals around the world.
Drew wants to blaze a path for other artists to reach their dreams. He believes there is enough work for everyone. He and his business manager and wife, Maria, love to share their experiences and advice with other artists regarding the business end of being an artist.
Drew and his family travel the globe together, visiting friends all over the world. They make it a point to “drop out” for a couple months every year and go somewhere they can surf and enjoy different cultures.
Drew’s vision is to inspire generations of people to live the life of their dreams.

September 17th, 2009 at 8:27 pmI’m a fledgling artist, and Drew Brophy’s art - and the globe-trotting lifestyle it allows him - is inspiring, to say the least! I currently draw ACEOs for sale on Ebay, mostly using Prismacolor colored pencils (which I hate, since they don’t cover the paper well enough), so I ordered some paint markers. Will they be truly opaque, without sacrificing fine detail? I don’t want something that’s going to bleed, like an ink marker does.

September 19th, 2009 at 12:38 pmHey, stumbled onto your site via The Toymaker. I LOVE it! Just seeing all the vivied colors and motion in your art is inspirational. I have always loved to draw and paint but never had formal instruction. Just learning as life goes along. I am a mom (under 40
), wit.h 6 children and I hope pass along the love of art to my kids. Hopefully will purchase some of the paint pens soon so we can experiment with them and see what we come up with. Thanks!!
