Son of the Sea, Inc. is a family owned business based on the art of Drew Brophy. Drew creates the art while Maria handles licensing, marketing, and runs the operation.

Drew is best known for his wild, crazy surfboard designs (he has literally painted thousands) but that is just a small fraction of what he does. Drew has been a professional artist for his entire life, working with many great companies to design everything from tiki sculptures to skateboards, wakeboards, bikes and toys to clothing lines and fabric designs. He has also illustrated a number of products including greeting cards, CD covers and childrens's books.

Son of the Sea's main business is licensing Drew branded art to manufacturers to place it on their products.  We then act as a dealer of these products and sell them on our website so they are available to Drew's fans everywhere.  Some of the products include t-shirts, stickers, greeting cards, bikes, beach towels, skimboards, boogie boards, cell phone screensavers, and several types of art prints.

In addition to licensing, we take custom orders for "high-end concept" surfboard art designs , paintings and painted murals.   We also exhibit Drew's art at galleries in locations throughout the world each year.

It is our mission to make Drew's art affordable for everyone who wants a piece of it. Every item that we sell begins as an actual painting. New paintings are constantly being created, as Drew works hard to keep his product designs fresh. We hold an annual art exhibit in which the new paintings are released for collectors to buy.
