This painting was a labor of love, but because it was Drew’s own personal project, it got left unfinished for a long time, due to all of the other paintings that had to get finished for clients.
Labors of love are like that – you put it down and think about it for some time, and when you pick up that special painting once again, you lovingly finish it. Drew finally picked it back up and finished it, happily.
Funny fact about this one: Originally the guy’s hair in the painting was sticking up on both sides of his head. One too many people commented to Drew that he shouldn’t have painted “horns” on the guys head. So finally, Drew painted over the horns and this is what we’ve got!
