Drew and Maria

For the past 13 years, Drew and I have written new goals every January. It keeps us on track and gives us something to work towards.

Most people don’t write out their goals, so we’ve made it easy for you by listing the TOP 5 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS FOR ARTISTS. We’re cool like that…..

1.) I RESOLVE TO PROMOTE MYSELF SHAMELESSLY IN 2009. I will always have photos of my work with me to show to people I meet. I will introduce myself as an artist, and I will have a business card ready to hand out and make it easy for people to remember me and what I do.

After successfully completing the first stage of the journey through southern California and the Pacific Coast of Northwestern Mexico, “Baby” is fired back up and ready to start the second leg of the tour. Seth Warren and his team designed their nature propelled renewable energy tour to follow the water cycle of the earth. The first part of this cycle started in the oceans with the currents, tides and waves being essential to fulfilling their hybrid lifestyle of educating kids about the importance of renewable energy, promoting sustainability and having fun playing in the surf. Let's go Kiwi!

Goin' Kiwi, Mate!

Drew and family are in New Zealand for the month of February on a “surf-n-paint” tour!

With any luck, it will be mostly surfing, but some painting demos will be in order.  We’ll be visiting surf shops and friends (like artist Royce McClure and wife Janet), and adventuring & bushwalking.

Check our blog every now & again to see where the wind has blown us!
