Rainbow Wave is a 6-piece mural that was created for an art exhibit at the Ocean-Institute in Dana Point.
Drew started painting this style of abstract a few years ago and he calls them his “Water Paintings.”
He uses a lot of water to create the drips, but also these paintings are often depicting his view of the world from under the ocean water. Drew’s Water Paintings have been evolving a bit over the past few years, in that they used to be just one color with a lot of texture and now they are becoming brighter (which tends to match his palette of choice).
