Bourbon Street is no place for kids, but we took Wiggs anyway. \u00a0That’s the difficulty with traveling across country<\/a> with children – there’s no one to watch them while you’re out partying!<\/p>\n

The vibe on Bourbon Street is HIGH ENERGY.<\/p>\n

Bar after bar with live music lining the street, loud drunks meandering down old craggy sidewalks, and the smells of beer, puke and flowers intermingle in the air.<\/p>\n

Brad Pitt for Mayor - YES!<\/p><\/div>\n

No Brad sightings, but plenty of BRAD PITT FOR MAYOR<\/a> t-shirts. \u00a0It’s a movement, one that Brad himself finds amusing.<\/p>\n

We are fortunate to have friends and family just about everywhere in the world. \u00a0Drew’s cousin, Bobby McQueen, has lived in New Orleans forever. \u00a0He gave us the grand 2 day tour.<\/p>\n

Feeling the Mississippi River<\/p><\/div>\n

The palm reading was amazingly accurate – and I’m glad to find out that I’ll live extremely long (my lifeline wraps around my hand) so long that I’ll end up back in diapers….<\/p>\n

Bobby took great care of us – it was fun having our on tour guide.<\/p>\n
