Today’s Painting is #15 of 20 in this #20×20 Series,\u00a0titled\u00a0WHAT TO DO ON FURLOUGH DAY<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>16″ x 20″ on Canvas Board, medium\u00a0Uni Poscas Paint Pens<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I was so stoked about this weekend because we had made plans to camp at Joshua Tree National Park. \u00a0We’ve been planning this trip for months with friends Kat and Justin.<\/p>\n

It never occurred to me that a government shutdown would affect me. \u00a0Until today, when I found out that all National Parks are CLOSED due to the shutdown! \u00a0This is trivial compared to some of the real problems that other people are dealing with in light of this shutdown.<\/p>\n

But, I’ve come to realize that we are like two different societies; us and them. \u00a0The politicians are so disconnected from the public that they only argue for their own agendas and have no idea what this nation needs. \u00a0I vote that we get rid of all of them and start with real leaders!<\/p>\n

Over the next few days (or weeks), I suspect that the beach will be more crowded now that government workers are furloughed!<\/p>\n
