39 of 50 Paint Studies in 50 Days – TAHITIAN REEF HUT

39 of 50 Paintings TAHITI REEF HOUSE by Drew Brophy Dec 3 2015FOR 50 DAYS, I’M CREATING 50 PAINT STUDIES that reflect 50 things that fascinate me.

This is #39 of 50 in the #50Paintings Paint Studies series.

TITLE:  TAHITIAN REEF HUT

SIZE:  11″x 14″ paint pen on Fredrix Pro Archival Canvas Board.

When I was in Tahiti a couple months ago, I paddled out to the contest scaffolding for the Billabong Pro, which sits on the reef right in front of the world famous surf break called Teahupoo.

How great would it be to live right there on the scaffolding?  You could spearfish off the edge and then surf out front.  If you needed something else you could paddle to shore, get on the bus and take it to town.  At night you could listen to the waves break while staring at the stars.  My dream life.

This painting study is available – SOLD to Tyler in PA.

One of my goals with this series is to make original art affordable for those who want it.   If interested in adding tomorrow’s to your collection, please email info@drewbrophy.com or text or call 949-678-8133 asap!

I hope you enjoy this series.  Thanks for reading!
