Why did Walter ride a wave?  Because Drew Brophy painted it that way.

In honor of the great Walter Foster and the new book titled HOW TO DRAW WITH DREW BROPHY for creative kids (published by Walter Foster Publishing), Drew painted this depiction of a happy guy surfing on a pencil alongside a trippy beach with happy crabs and bloomin’ flowers and screaming tiki’s.

The original painting was created for the book to show kids a fun way to draw a variety of elements and then pull them all together for one big painting.
